FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
- Apollo clinicians are being integrated into the research stream through the Faculty Development Program since 2014.
- This program provides seed funding to Apollo researchers to create a proof-of-concept based on their research ideas.
- ARI/AHERF also provides support to prepare and submit proposals for extramural funding from DST/DBT/ICMR, etc.
- This program enables the development of publications, data for national and international meetings, and the extension of full-length grants for granting organizations.
- Many FDP projects have been completed which resulted in publication or as a base for further research. A total of 14 projects are completed so far.
ADJUNCT TITLES OF PROFESSORSHIPS
Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation (AHERF) established in 2006 as a non-profit organization, promotes basic, applied, and clinical medical research. It was established to enhance the quality of health care in India and is recognized by
the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO). It is registered in Chennai and guided by a scientific advisory council of India's top scientists and
medical professionals.
AHERF focuses on leading clinical and translational research and has a Class 10,000 wet lab Cell and Molecular Biology Research Centre (CMBRC) spread across 4000 sq.ft
in Hyderabad. CMBRC conducts cutting-edge research in liquid biopsy, molecular diagnostics, cell-free therapeutics, and drug delivery.

Adjunct Titles of Professorships and Associate Professorships of Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation (AHERF)
- Policy of grant of Adjunct Title of Professor and Associated Professor of AHERF was implemented in the year 2012 in order to boost the state Academics & Research across the Apollo Hospitals Group
- A total of 153 Consultants have been conferred with Adjunct Title of Professor and Associate professor of AHERF in various specialities on 2021

Adjunct Title of International Professors
- Policy of grant of Adjunct Title of International Professor of AHERF was implemented in the year 2019 with the aim to enhance research and academic activities by creating a think tank.
- Renowned doctors from reputed healthcare institutions overseas, who have excellence in academics and research, are nominated for grant of Adjunct International Professor of AHERF.
- Twenty five consultants have been conferred with Adjunct Title of International Professor of AHERF till 2021.
FELLOWSHIP GRANTS
AHERF supports and facilitates the research scholars and the team members with fellowship applications and grants. Few of AHERF’s team members are currently doing their doctorate degree with PM Fellowship scheme and few of them carry out their research projects through ICMR funded Young Women Scientist scheme.
AHERF provides support to aspiring research scholars to pursue higher degrees. Two AHERF scientists have received the Prime Minister's Fellowship for completing their doctoral studies.
